Design & Art

My newest collection is all about raw neutrals. Inspiration comes from so many places. Think coastal cliffs in California, warm sand, lava rock... One of my favorite ways to generate concept, color and feel is through design. Instagram is like a candy shop when it comes to finding inspiring design.  But, sometimes one of my favorite things to do is an old-fashioned flip through my favorite catalogs.

One of my go to faves that never fails to get my creative energy flowing is Lulu and Georgia. Today, I thought I'd share how textiles, lighting, vessels, etc. can influence the pieces I'm working on.  Here you'll find patterns, textures and colors that are represented in my current collection. When I'm working, I picture a space filled with these treasures and try to cultivate a painting that looks like it was meant to be.
